Questions about searching, booking, and using your account.

Yes. Searching properties, saving favorites, creating a seeker account, and contacting advertisers is completely free. Area Vista is funded by advertiser plans and promotional tools — seekers never pay to search or browse.
No. You can browse all listings without an account. However, creating a free account lets you save favorites, set up search alerts, book short-term rentals, and leave reviews.
Click the heart icon on any listing card. You need to be logged in — if you’re not, you’ll be prompted to log in or register first. You can view all your saved favorites from your profile under "My Favorites", organized by directory (Sale, Rent, Short Stays, Resources).
When you perform a search, you can save it as an alert. Area Vista will email you when new listings matching your criteria are published. You can manage or delete your saved searches from your profile under "Saved Search". Each alert email includes an unsubscribe link.
Find a property in the Short Stays directory, select your dates and number of guests, and click "Reserve". This sends a booking request to the host — it’s a request to book, not an instant booking. The host will confirm or decline. Area Vista does not process payments for bookings — you arrange payment directly with the host.
No. Area Vista never takes a commission on any transaction — not on sales, not on rentals, not on short-term bookings. We connect you directly with the host or advertiser.
Every listing has a contact section with available options: phone number, WhatsApp link, email form, or in-platform messaging. You choose the method that works best for you.
Yes, for short-term rentals (after a booking) and for businesses in the Resources directory. Go to your profile under "My Reviews" to see and manage your reviews.
Go to your profile, then "Delete Account". You’ll be asked to confirm with your password. There is a 30-day grace period during which you can reactivate. Note: your listings (if any) will NOT be automatically deleted — manage those separately from your Advertiser Account.
Area Vista is available in Spanish, English, and French. The platform auto-detects your browser language. You can switch languages anytime using the language selector in the footer.
Area Vista is a promotional platform — we help you discover and compare properties, and we connect you directly with owners, agents, and developers. We do not participate in negotiations, contracts, payments, or any part of the transaction itself.
Yes. Area Vista uses secure connections (SSL), Cloudflare protection, and follows standard data privacy practices. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

For advertisers

Questions about listing properties, plans, payments, and managing your account.

Log in to your account, click "Add a property", and select the type of listing (Sale, Rent, Short-Term Rental, or Resource). If you have an active plan with available listings, you’ll go directly to the listing form. If not, you’ll be guided to choose a package first.
À la carte plans are one-time payments per listing — ideal for individual owners listing one or a few properties. Pro plans are monthly subscriptions that include multiple listings, Featured placements, and professional tools like data bridge integration — designed for agencies and professionals managing larger volumes.
Yes. These are separate plan categories. You can have a Pro Plan for Sale/Rent AND an STR Pro plan for Short-Term Rentals at the same time. Each has its own listing quota and features.
Featured listings appear in priority positions in search results and are marked with a badge. For à la carte plans, Featured visibility lasts 15 days (Top and Home & Top plans). For Pro subscriptions, you receive a monthly allocation of Featured placements that you can assign to your listings from your dashboard.
Everything is in your Advertiser Dashboard. Go to "My Listings" to view, edit, publish/unpublish, or delete your listings. You can also purchase boosts (Featured badges, etc.) for individual listings directly from there.
All payments are processed securely through PayPal. À la carte plans are one-time payments. Pro and STR Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically. You can pay with PayPal balance, credit card, or debit card. Invoices are available in your dashboard under "Invoices".
Yes. You can cancel your Pro or STR Pro subscription at any time from your Advertiser Dashboard under "Subscription". Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. There are no cancellation fees.
Your listing becomes inactive and is no longer visible to seekers. You can renew it at any time from your dashboard by purchasing a new package for that listing. Your listing content and photos are preserved — nothing is deleted.
Yes. You can upgrade from any plan to a higher tier at any time from your dashboard under "Subscription". The change takes effect immediately.
The data bridge allows professional agencies to automatically sync their listings from their existing CRM or management system (like AlterEstate) to Area Vista. This is included in Pro plans — the Starter plan includes 1 bridge or data verification, Pro includes automated bridge, and Elite includes bridge with quality assurance.
Yes, if you have a Team account. The master account can invite agents who get their own login and can manage their assigned listings. To set up a Team account, go to "My Agents" in your dashboard or contact us for assistance.
From your Advertiser Dashboard under "Booking Dashboard". Select your property from the dropdown, manage your calendar, set pricing rules, view and manage bookings, and sync with external platforms via iCalendar import/export.
Yes. Area Vista translates listing content into Spanish, English, and French so your property is visible to both local and international seekers. Write your listing in the language you’re most comfortable with — we handle the rest.
Depending on your plan, you can upload 5 to 20 photos per listing. We support video embeds and virtual tour links as well. Use landscape orientation, high resolution, and make sure images accurately represent the property.
No. All costs are displayed clearly on our Packages page. There are no hidden fees, no commissions on transactions, and no surprise charges. What you see is what you pay.
No. Area Vista is currently focused exclusively on the Dominican Republic. All listed properties must be located within the country.
You can list residential and commercial properties for sale or long-term rent, vacation rentals (short-term), and real estate-related businesses in our Resources directory. This includes houses, apartments, condos, villas, land, commercial spaces, and more.
Yes. Listing on Area Vista does not prevent you from listing on other platforms or using other promotional channels. There is no exclusivity requirement.
Yes. You can publish one listing for free in our Sale or Rent directories — no subscription needed. This free listing includes up to 5 photos with a 90-day visibility period. For professionals, all Pro and STR Pro plans include a 30-day free trial with no commitment. You can cancel anytime during the trial at no cost. After the trial, your subscription renews automatically at the plan rate.
